We have volunteer opportunities for docents, educational docents, guides, hospitality, program helpers, handymen, mailings, photography, archives and collections. Docents are responsible to give tours while guides answer simple questions and monitor the galleries. There are scripts that will aid the docents. Hospitality will help at special events and exhibit openings. They will help with the table, flowers and food preparation. In archives and collections, volunteers will help with data entry, cataloging, filing etc. Please join us. We have a lot of fun! We also welcome volunteers to help with yard work, painting and general maintenance. One of our volunteers just completed a mural in the children's room. We try to use volunteers in areas that use your talents and skills.Let us put you to work!

Volunteer docents must do some training by shadowing docents, reading, and attending docent trainings. We will try to place volunteers in the areas that interest them.
