Help Nature Consortium restore the West Duwamish Greenbelt, the largest remaining contiguous forest in Seattle! The greenbelt is over 500 acres of forest located on the eastern edge of West Seattle. We always need volunteers to help pull invasive species, mulch, and plant native plants and conifers. Youth volunteers are welcome. Volunteer with your family. This is a service-learning opportunity.
Volunteers should be able to handle basic garden tools and be able to hike 7 to 10 min. to the restoration site. Minimum age for this opportunity is 13 years and older. Please RSVP because the location varies depending on the day.
