Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The mission of the AHB Home is to provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified support to citizens of central Indiana who are terminally ill and without resources. With the help of many committed volunteers we plan to offer comfort, warmth, and love at the end of lifes journey for our residents. Volunteers who assist with housecleaning will perform light housekeeping chores such as dusting, bathroom clean-up, light sweeping, and smoking lounge clean-up.

AHB Home Volunteers attend a 4 hour agency orientation, followed by a 4 hour end of life orientation. After completion, the volunteer shadows an experienced volunteer on an assignment. No medical experience is required, all volunteer positions are non-medical in nature. Volunteers must provide own transportation to the Home.
