Our mission is to provide high quality, structured living environments, treatment, education and recovery services for individuals with addictions and substance abuse issues.

Description:
The goals of the program are to 1) aid the recovering person in maintaining abstinence 2) assist the recovering person in making the transition back into society and 3) aid the establishment of personal habits that will accomplish the first two goals.

History:
Since 1981 we have been providing transitional housing and supportive services. We have 19 bed residential halfway house for men, a 10 bed residential halfway house for women and a 5 bed residential three quarter way house for men all located in Bloomington. Additionally, Amethyst House began providing outpatient services in 1999 in Bloomington and 2001 in Evansville.
