Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for you and a friend or a group that you are part of to adopt one of our garden-areas. What this means is: being responsible for a section of our 5 acres of gardens including weeding, maintaining, collecting seeds from, dividing bulbs in, and generally making that section flourish. We will give you instruction at first but after that the schedule is yours to set (such as weekly checks, monthly weeding, and quarterly review of status for new plants or divisions). Here is a list of the gardens: The Ferguson Memorial Herb Garden, the butterfly ranch, the woodland garden, the pumpkin patch, and the daffodil/daylily border. It's a chance to learn a little landscaping, a little gardening, and a little scheduling all in one.

We are looking for people who will be consistent volunteers and will take responsibility for the garden they adopt.
