BE A PART OF THE 2009 LOTUS FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND ARTS!
Lotus volunteers set up; tear down; sell stuff; check wristbands; provide transportation for festival artists; hang signs; steer crowds; help with visual arts; and lots more! Each fall, more than 400 volunteers from the community contribute to the festival's success.

1. Volunteers must apply online at http://lotusfestival.in-53.com/public/apply.cfm. Applications received by August 10 will receive priority consideration for shift assignments, but applications will continue to be accepted through September 17, 2009.
 

2. All volunteers must attend a brief job-specific orientation.
Training dates are Saturday morning, September 12, or Thursday late afternoon, September 17, 2009. Orientations will take place at the Monroe County Public Library. More information, including training details, will be sent with shift assignments when they go out, via email, in early September.
 

3. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
