Attention Men: If you can spare an a few hours a week, there is a boy waiting to be mentored by you!
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life for as little as 3 hours a week. We ask that mentors make a 1-year commitment to the children they mentor. Click here to find out how to sign up TODAY. Middle Way House's Youth Empowerment Programs include facilitated mentoring relationships. Mentors must be 18 years or older. Once qualified, mentors will be expected to complete an 8-hour pre-service training program, an orientation and additional, mentor-specific training. |

Middle Way House has a great need for male volunteers to serve as mentors for boys living in the transitional housing program, the Rise.
Matches between youths, 5-18 year old boys and girls, and community members interested in volunteering, help young people who have been exposed to domestic violence overcome the deficits that have accrued and reach their full potential. Mentors are asked to commit to an average of 3 hours a week for at least a year. (During summer, spring, and winter breaks Mentors are expected to maintain contact with mentees by mail or telephone.)
