Volunteers are urgently needed Become a CASA Volunteer! Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a volunteer powered program that provides representation in juvenile court for abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers gather information about the child, help identify needs and possible services, and monitor court orders and case plans to help the child find a safe, loving home. CASA volunteers advocate for children to ensure that they remain at the forefront of the court proceedings and find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. CASA is the voice of a child in court.
The next CASA training is March 23 –April 18, 2009, Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm, and Saturday mornings 9am-noon. Learn more, request an application or register online here.
