The mission of Centro Cultural is "Helping Hispanic Build Better Lives And Stronger Communities."

The goals of Centro Cultural is to build strong Latino youth, create a unified, engaged Latino community, bridge with the broader Fargo/Moorhead Community, and promote leadership and organizational effectiveness. Centro will become a vibrant place where Latinos congregate; feel unity and work to shape the broader community. Centro will have a clout and broad impact. There will be strong bridges with the broader community that support Latinos in the area.
History:
Centro Cultural de Fargo-Moorhead was started in 1994-1995 as "The Hispanic Cultural Center". In 1997, The center become known as Centro Cultural de Fargo-Moorhead. Funds and donations helped to create youth programming, anti-racism training, and pesticide training. Aspiring youth are bought in to start a youth band, Soledad Yabarra. In 1999, The organization grows and finds a building to call home, at 1014 19th Street South in Moorhead. 2000 to the present, Centro continues its training in anti-racism and youth programming, with its new board members and Executive Director.
