The Great Rivers Volunteer Center promotes volunteerism by "Connecting Good People to Good Causes". 

The Volunteer Center serves the five county region served by the Great Rivers United Way, including La Crosse, Vernon, Trempealeau, and Monroe Counties in Wisconsin and Houston County in Minnesota.  We seek to serve and build our communities by:

• Serving as a resource for non-profit agencies, businesses and educational facilities to use volunteers effectively
• Serving as a resource to volunteers by providing access to meaningful volunteer opportunities

The Volunteer Center will provide a web based central clearinghouse for volunteer opportunities and training in its use.
