Through collaboration with non-profit organizations and agencies, RSVP addresses identified community needs by recruiting, placing, and supporting volunteers. By providing diverse, intergenerational volunteer opportunities, RSVP makes a positive impact and enhances the quality of life of individuals and agencies we serve.

Description:
The mission of the Coulee Region RSVP, through collaboration with other community non-profit agencies and organizations is to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities and experiences for individuals age 55 and better in La Crosse and Monroe Counties. This will provided a positive impact for, and enhance the quality of life for the volunteer, the organizations, and people we serve. This is achieved by identifying community needs, recruiting, and placing volunteers in diverse, intergenerational volunteer opportunities, and non-profit agencies. Volunteers serve at a variety of locations throughout La Crosse and Monroe counties: Hospitals, Skilled care facilities, Libraries, Schools, Historical sites, Thrift stores, and social service organizations to name just a few.

History:
Coulee Region RSVP is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service and has been operating in La Crosse and Monroe counties for 36 years.
