The Coulee Council on Addictions provides confidential assistance, information, education, and services to people of all ages dealing with substance abuse and other addictions.
Description:
Coulee Council on Addictions offers a variety of services for the community including: prevention and drug presentations for first graders through adults; 24 hour response to individuals in crisis or in need of talking with a counselor; Outpatient counseling; a Resource Center (drop-in center) which provides a safe, substance free environment to individuals in need; general assessments and underage assessments to individuals in need; a Resource Library available with brochures, books and videos on addiction related topics.
History:
Coulee Council was founded in 1968 through a grass-roots community effort to provide information and referral services concerning substance abuse and addiction. Through the years, the Council has expanded services to deal with all aspects of addiction, including prevention, intervention, crisis management, outpatient counseling, and recovery support. Because of dedicated volunteers and generous community support, these services continue to thrive.

Coulee Council is located next door to Taco Johns, across the street from Walgreen's by Franciscan Skemp Hospital. There is parking in the back of the Coulee Council building. Go through the alley off of Mississippi or Jackson. |
