Description:
The Boys & Girls Club of the Tomah Area is a positive place for youth in grades 3 – 12 after school, summer, and for high school students on Saturday nights. The purpose is to provide a safe place to learn and grow, to offer ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, to provide life enhancing programs and character development experiences, and to supply hope and opportunity in a rural community.

The Clubs core program areas are; character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, sports, fitness, and recreation.

Within these core areas we offer; homework assistance, tutoring, reading incentives, homework incentives, computer classes, language classes, scouting programs, cooking classes, art classes, guitar lessons, music production, tournaments, photography, SMART programs through Boys & Girls Clubs of America, field trips, Torch Club (a civic leadership group for youth in middle school), and caring adults that take time to listen and mentor.

Throughout the year, our members can; get a healthy snack daily, complete homework in a quiet area, receive homework assistance, have safe and supervised computer/internet access, attend interest-based classes and activities, and learn and grow with positive adult role-models that guide, teach, are professional and consistent.
