The Polar Plunge is our biggest fundraiser. The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is held at Black River Beach in La Crosse. It is held every March. This is a one day event. Volunteers are needed to help sell concessions, hand out incentives, and register those brave enough to take the jump into the freezing river! We need help setting up Friday evening, running the events all day Saturday, and cleaning up on Sunday morning. Any time you could volunteer would be appreciated. There is also opportunity to take the plunge by yourself or with a team. Please visit the www.specialolympicswisconsin.com website for more information! Thanks!
Volunteers need to either contact Kerry Gloede or visit http://www.specialolympicswisconsin.org/calendar_detail.asp?id=561 to fill out a volunteer registration form. This opportunity is sponsored by: La Crosse Special Recreation
