Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center Of Atlanta
Logo

Our mission is to help women and men deal positively with an unexpected pregnancy by providing practical assistance during and after the pregnancy, as well as emotional and spiritual support which includes sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ultimate vision is to see the truth that Jesus Christ offers birthed in the hearts of people in our city thereby making voluntary pregnancy termination unnecessary and undesirable. Our vision includes providing needed education in the areas of Sexual Integrity, Adoption, Abortion, and Basic Life Skills. Our goal is to educate our community in order to aid the prevention of a crisis pregnancy and post abortive trauma.

Description:
Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of Atlanta exists as a non-profit, interdenominational, evangelical Christian ministry to meet the emotional, Spiritual, and physical needs of individuals facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy, or post abortion trauma regardless of age, race, creed, nationality, country of origin, marital status, circumstance of conception, or condition of the unborn baby. We seek to build a better community by stressing the virtue of chastity and promoting strong family values through educational materials and programs. All of our services are FREE. Our services include: pregnancy testing, abortion alternatives, accurate information, social service referrals, spiritual support and mentoring, sensitive and confidential counseling, physician and clinic referrals, literature and videos, housing referrals, community service referrals, parenting classes, post abortion Bible Study and counseling, abstinence education, and a Baby Store (Earn While You Learn rewards program, marriage and family counseling and support. The future goals of the ministry are to become medical, which means we would be able to provide clinical services and provide free STD testing. This would also make us eligible to acquire ultrasound equipment so that we can provide future parents with the first visions of their unborn children.

History:
We opened our doors to clients on February 13, 2008. Since, that time, we have served over 100 clients (fathers included), providing confidential counseling, pregnancy tests, agency referrals, and many other services. Our open house was held on April 6, 2008 with the attendance from volunteers, local churches, surrounding communities, and elected officials. CPRCA has seen victory by impacting the lives of women and men, saving the unborn, and evangelizing the lost.
