Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Achor Center is seeking enthusiastic, energy-driven volunteers to assist with our many programs. We are looking for individuals to work with our children and youth through constructive activities, after school tutoring and general support. Achor Center is also seeking volunteers who enjoy working with seniors, who come with much energy and can share great stories. Achor Center is also seeking volunteers to assist with events planned for our families throughout the year. In order to prepare for the upcoming holidays, Achor Center will need Holiday helpers with gift wrapping and delivery to our three locations. Achor Center is also seeking volunteers who can be available during the weekday to assist with administrative duties, such as answering the telephones at our Administrative Office and program location.

There will be a formal training and individuals who are interested in working with our children will need to submit a current criminal background check. We ask all volunteers to sign an abide by the volunteer code of conduct.
