Cascade United Methodist Church Habitat For Humanity Cascade and Glenn Memorial have united as partners to provide a home for some deserving family. This home is to be built by volunteers at a location to be announced. Construction will take place each Saturday, from April 28 - June 16. Listed below are dates and their activities. Please select a minimum of two dates for which you are willing to volunteer. For those who cannot participate in the actual construction, please volunteer to help with coordinating food for lunchtime or with contacting volunteers by phone. Scheduled Work Dates: April 28: prepare foundation, build and erect walls May 5: set trusses and install roof decking May 12: install roof shingles and siding May 19: install siding, caulking and insulation June 2: painting, trim and soffits June 9: painting, trim and soffits June 16: landscaping and house dedication Contact: 404.691.5770 Address: 3144 Cascade Road, SW |
