Volunteer Positions:
The Captain Planet Foundation has volunteer opportunities available immediately in planning for their upcoming big event and fund raiser, the X-Mas Party. This party will be held on Friday, December 12 at The Tabernacle.
These positions offer great opportunities for learning about event and entertainment management as well as how to actually hold a green event. Positions are available for a Production Assistant and someone to manage travel arrangements for VIP guests and performers. Additional volunteers will be needed to help with logistics, the silent auction, catering and other event roles.
Qualifications:
Volunteers must be 21; If you will soon turn 21, apply and this can be discussed with the Captain Planet staff.
Must know Excel - even if your experience with Excel is limited; Knowledge of Access is preferable.
The Captain Planet offices are located on Luckie Street within easy walking distance to the campus. Volunteers will have the opportunity to network with environmental leaders, major event sponsors as well as some of the nation's best entertainment and event contacts.
