C3: Care. Compassion. Community.

C3 is what we like to call "Backyard Missions", because every project C3 does is a mini mission trip focused on the areas you live in. It doesn't involve going to another country or driving hundreds of miles. There are mission trips right in our own communities. C3 strives to meet those needs once a month by providing opportunities for our volunteers to serve and touch the hearts and lives of those in the community.

Description:
C3 is one of Journey of Faith's premier ministries. It provides a pathway for volunteers to get connected with their community. Once a month C3 meets at a central location where volunteers are then split up into groups according to project size and are then sent into the community to complete those projects. Some of the projects C3 has been a part of are landscaping for the elderly, providing breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House, and hosting an Extreme Home Makeover for a deserving family over an entire weekend. C3 strives to take on whatever projects the community is in need of completing.

History:
C3 has been touching the community since September 29th, 2007; when we launched our first set of community projects. Journey of Faith is all about reaching out to those who are in need and that is why C3 was created. To provide a gateway for volunteers to reach out into their community.

Directions:

From 131 North or South take the M-6 exit towards Holland. Get off at the Byron Center Ave. Exit. Turn left and head south until you hit 64th St. Turn right. Look for second drive on left.
