The mission of Clark Retirement Community is to create a community of dignity, compassion, and respect, centered on the lives of older adults and those who care for them. We will achieve a position of leadership as we strengthen our residential communities and reach beyond our walls through community partnerships and innovation. Our hallmark will be excellent service, delivered by our valued team of excellent employees and volunteers.

Description:
Clark Retirement Community is a non-profit organization which provides many programs and services to its residents and has always relied on the strength of its volunteers to assist in providing programs for residents. Every level of care from independent to nursing is managed skillfully at Clark. Our Life Assurance Promise is your guarantee that if your funds become exhausted you can remain in the Clark continuum and receive the same excellent care. Our vision is to serve God by partnering with older adults in ways that add meaning and value to their lives.

History:
Clark was founded at this location in 1906, when
M.J. Clark donated his property to establish a retirement home for retired minister. Clark on Franklin is a rare combination of urban living, since we are close to downtown Grand Rapids, within a close knit, self contained community. Accommodations embrace every level of need from completely independent to highly dependent nursing care. We currently have two campuses. (Franklin Campus & Keller Lake Campus)
Keller Lake campus is nestled with 32 private acres on the Southeast side of Grand Rapids, provides assisted living care in two centers,Oxford and Windsor Manors and unattached Town Homes. We have over 350 employees and over 400 residents.
