Description:
Spectrum Health Rehab & Nursing Ctr. is an organization with many entities. We are a 270 bed facility, serving a large population of long-term care residents/patients. We have rehab services, which consist of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language pathology. We also have a balance center, a more long-term acute care and and a recovery center.

History:
Spectrum Health Rehab & Nursing Ctr., most recently known as Spectrum Health Kent Community Campus, was once known as Sunshine Hospital. As Sunshine, it was a facility that cared for people with Tuberculosis. It was then known as Kent Community Hospital. Kent Community Hospital became the home for many long-term care residents. The changes that have occurred, with the addition of Spectrum Health to our facility, have allowed for much growth. We now serve a much broader population of people and are able to offer much more to the community.
