Project Rehab

Project Rehab promotes the development of healthy individuals, families, and communities by providing prevention, treatment and supportive services in the areas of substance abuse and behavioral health.

Description:
Project Rehab provides a full range of treatment for substance use disorders. There are often varied volunteer supportive opportunities to assist in these areas. Its sister agency, Life Guidance Services, provides a full range of outpatient family, counseling and direct supportive services including employee assistance programming and prevention services in the community. One volunteer opportunity in prevention is through Yo Puedo, working with middle and high school youth in Kent County.

History:
For 40 years Project Rehab has provided a wide range of services in the areas of treatment and prevention of substance abuse. In 2003 Project Rehab acquired Life Guidance Services which has been in our community for 110 years, first as a Charity Organization, then Family Service Association, then in 1977 as Life Guidance Services. In 2006 the parent corporation of Project Rehab and Life Guidance Services was renamed from Project Rehab Corporate Services to Proaction Behavioral Health Alliance.
