Position title: Board Member
Description: We are currently in need of board members with expertise in the areas of human resources, fund development, and public relations. Because Safe Haven is a faith-based ministry, we are also looking for candidates who are members of different churches in our community. Other helpful qualities would be:
•Possessing a passion to serve the Lord in a local Christian ministry and a heart for serving abused women and children.
•Being a member in good standing of a Christian church professing Christ as Savior and Lord.
•Possessing an awareness of and ability to use his/her own spiritual gifts and natural talents effectively.
•Possessing leadership skills or ability to work in a team.
