Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Provide an opportunity for patients receiving end-of-life care to have their memories/life stories recorded into a lasting keepsake. By guiding the patient through an interview process, their stories are written out, assembled and bound, along with accompanying pictures, into beautifully designed bound books. Materials and training are provided. Bi-lingual volunteers are encouraged.
Opportunities in Belding, Cedar Springs, Grand Rapids, Greenville, Hudsonville, Lowell, Rockford and surrounding areas.
Note: Volunteers are asked to wait one year from the death of a family member or friend before volunteering.
Hospice volunteer training provided. Once trained, ongoing in-services are provided for support and skill development.
The next Volunteer Orientation Training in Grand Rapids will be on Jan 12, 19, 26, Feb 2 and 9, from 6 pm - 9 pm.
