Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Short Description:
Development volunteers are administrative support at the American Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids; they provide assistance with filing, event coordination, donation solicitation, and mass mailing projects.

Time Commitment:
Based on the individual’s and project’s schedule.

Expectations:
Able to follow written/verbal procedures.
Some experience may be required for certain projects/tasks.

Responsibilities:
Development Volunteers will be responsible for greeting event attendees, setting up venues, donation (non-monetary) solicitation, and clerical support.

Additional:
Development Volunteers for the Benevon project will be heavily involved in informational/fundraising events. Customer service experience a plus.
