Create a warm welcome for patients receiving end-of-life care and a lasting keepsake for their families. Join our Pillow Partners team to make gifts of comfort and color for our patients. Quilters, seamstresses, hand-stitchers and machine-users contribute their own designs making each pillow unique. We provide guidelines for the 18 x 18 pillow covers and the pillow form inserts. Guidelines for making the pillow covers are included. You provide the design and labor; we provide the pillow forms. Pillow Partners who track the hours spent volunteering are invited to all in-service and recognition events and receive our quarterly newsletter.
New pillow partners are welcome to attend the first informational session of our Volunteer Orientation to learn about our hospice program. The next volunteer training in Grand Rapids will be on Jan 12 from 6 pm - 9 pm.
