Responsibilities will include performing a variety of technical tasks in the installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of all computer components and related peripherals. Essential functions are: Perform a variety of technical tasks in the installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of computers within the computer network, provide information and/or technical assistance to users concerning the development and maintenance of the computer network or for resolution of problems, respond to service calls; diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment, maintain records on repair, installation and removal of equipment; provide appropriate logging and tracking of hardware malfunctions, recommend improvements to operating procedures; write and maintain procedure manuals, assist in the development of long range planning for new projects and systems need, assist with updates of website, perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein, and take minutes for IT Committee Meetings. The desired candidate will be working towards an Information Systems degree in ay field, having completed essential courses.
