Animals can have a wonderfully positive impact on patients, families, and staff members. Bring your properly certified dog to the facility to visit staff, patients, and other guests. Hold conversations with patients and other guests to make them feel more at ease in the presence of the animal. Must provide certification of therapy dog (TDI or equivalent); vaccine record, clean bill of health from vet, and proof of liability insurance. Handler must be a volunteer of the hospital.
