Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Monday through Friday, God's Kitchen delivers a hot meal and a bag of snacks to approximately 220 home-bound medically disabled adults in the in the Grand Rapids community.

Meals are ready for pick-up between 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. in God's Kitchen's dining room located at:

303 Division Avenue South
Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Most routes take about an hour and a half to deliver, and are a great service opportunity for individuals as well as teams of two: one driver and one navigator/meal-runner. Often, a God's Kitchen Meals On Wheels driver is the only face-to-face contact our guests have in the course of a day. Yours may be the only hands to touch another human being, or the only voice he or she hears in the course of a day!
Driver can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or "on-call". Mileage can be reimbursed.

Volunteers should be able to lift 20 pounds and must submit to driving record and background checks. Any interested adults 18 years of age and older are encouraged to consider helping this important outreach.
