Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on June 16, 2009 |
The Kent County Micro Enterprise Program is a partnership of agencies that support people with disabilities in starting and running a small business. Because all people deserve equal opportunities, this program supports those that have a good business idea in creating their own income. We need people with business experience to mentor up and coming business owners in their endeavor.
Mentors would need business experience and knowledge; along with good relationship skills since all knowledge and growth come through relationships. Each business is unique and thus has various strengths and weaknesses. Volunteers would go through the normal requirements of training, TB test, and background check.
