Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 2, 2009 |
As an agency of resource, referral and family programs we often receive calls from adoptive parents looking to be linked with another adoptive parent as a mentor. This relationship would be based on the needs of the mentee and the ability of the mentor to provide support via phones calls, face to face meetings, e-mail Q&A exchange, etc.
Volunteers need to be touched by adoption in some way. Meet with the AFSN Staff and possibly participate in a short training. Volunteers must agree to a security check as well as signed a confidentiality agreement.
