Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Vicky’s Pet Connection is an all volunteer driven organization – there are no paid staff. Currently VPC is seeking a volunteer coordinator to recruit and schedule volunteers. Volunteers are needed to man the Critter Cottage during hours of operation and represent VPC at community events by manning a VPC informational table.

Community Events --
Duties for the volunteer coordinator regarding VPC community event appearances could include: Determining what is needed; hours of the event; number of volunteers needed; coordination of the materials needed for the event and scheduling the volunteers.

Critter Cottage --
Duties for the volunteer coordinator for the Critter Cottage could include: Recruit volunteers to man the cottage during operational hours; Train the volunteers in adoption and retail procedures and providing general information to patrons; light house work at the Critter Cottage; maintain list of emergency back -up volunteers in the event a volunteer cannot attend their shift.
