Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to help groom and tack horses in the barn. In the riding arena, volunteers lead horses and sidewalk assisting clients. We are in high need for daytime volunteers. All hands on training available. Come and make someone's day special and be amazed at the special feeling you take home with you.

Volunteers 13 years and older may work in the riding arena. We are always training hands on throughout the session, but do offer Orientations 1-2 times a month, please call up to the barn for dates.

5 Overall Experience   
It has made me realize what a true passion for something is.

By volunteering at Equest I have learned so much about the people that work, voluenteer and have classes there, I have also learned about the horses. This is a place that works hard for a good cause the volunteers and staff put so much time and effort into this program. They have all taught me what a true passion for something is. And that is different for everybody. 5 Overall Experience   
This is the best thing I have ever done in my entire life!

Everyone there is so nice! The horses are frendly, and so are the people. It is a great way to make new friends, and gain knowledge on horses. If you love horses and love little kids, and helping others this is the volunteer job for you. I will volunteer here as long as I can! I can't wait, each week for the day I volunteer!
