Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Can't imagine a world without music? The same goes for the residents at our community. Do you possess a musical talent, vocal or instrumental, that you are willing to share? Are you experienced with, or comfortable interacting with others in a group setting or on an individual basis? If your answer to these questions is, "yes!," then we have something to offer that may be of interest to you. We invite you to volunteer your time and talent as a Music Artist here at Porter Hills Village. You can perform to a small group or lead a sing-a-long.

Music Artist volunteers are asked to prepare a music activity for residents to participate in, encourage resident participation and lead residents through music activity. You must have a desire to work with older adults, be creative, outgoing and self-directed, responsible and reliable, comfortable in a leadership role, and be able to push a wheelchair if necessary.
