This is an opportunity to work with the parents of children attending Head Start. You will be a member of the Parent Policy Council representing the Grand Rapids community and bringing in your personal expertise.You will serve as a role model for Head Start parents by your participation in the Council as they discuss and make decisions regarding Head Start centers, staff, children,policies and procedures. You must be able to attend the Parent Policy Council meeting on the second Friday of each month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lunch is provided.
There will be a one hour training to learn about Head Start and the important role the Parent Policy Council plays in the agency.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Michigan Family Resources
