Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Provide friendly, hospitable service to guest families. Check guests in and out. Provide tours for new guests and visitors. Staff office, answer phone, and complete office duties according to need, individual skills and interests. Straighten kitchen, re-stock pantry, replace linens and personal care items in rooms, and perform other light housekeeping chores.

We request that you come for a tour of the house, complete a volunteer application, and attend a two hour new volunteer orientation session. In-House volunteers will also complete on-the-job (OJT) training sessions to learn office procedures and how to prepare rooms. In-House Volunteer shifts are 3 hours in length, weekly or bi-weekly.

We are located off of Fuller Ave, just South of Leonard and North of I-196. Cedar is a side street that crosses Fuller. We are east of Fuller on Cedar, just past Michigan Community Blood Center and Life EMS.   Nearest Bus Stop: corner of Leonard and Fuller, 5 minute walk
