Volunteer Opportunity Details:

A facilitator is an "Imagination Guide", interacting with children, playing with exhibits, and encouraging learning through play. When you're a facilitator, it's not only "okay to play", we encourage it! We love to see you blowing bubbles, reading stories, and having fun with the children.

You come to the museum with all the experience you need to be a facilitator - a lifetime of smiling, playing, and learning. Once you begin, you will spend time shadowing staff members and seeing all the endless ways we know to make learning fun. Once you are comfortable with facilitating, you can begin interacting with the visitors on your own, but there will always be someone around in a blue apron to lend you an hand.
