St. John's Home is a treatment facility for abused and neglected children and youth located on a beautiful, wooded campus in northeast Grand Rapids. Our eight large homes need gardeners to tend their perennial and annual flower gardens during the growing season. Individuals, families or small groups may adopt one or more house gardens. Interest and knowledge of gardening is helpful, but not essential. Volunteers should be over 21. A criminal background check may be required.
