Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 20, 2009 |
Our agency has residents who desperately want to go out once in a while. However, do to lack of funds, we can't offer transportation service that the residents need to become self-sufficient. We are in great need for at least two volunteers who can come in once a week or even once a month to take our residents shopping, apartment searching and other errands the residents might have to do. This doesn't mean every resident's needs have to be met, but it would be nice for the residents to have a regular ride to depend on.
Although anyone with a car suites the position, we would encourage the volunteers to have open mind and some dependability. This opportunity is sponsored by: Shepherds of Independence
We need volunteers who are free at these times
