Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Heart of West Michigan United Way is looking for volunteers with good communication skills to answer the phone, greet visitors, and perform general administrative duties. Our receptionist position is an important volunteer role here at United Way. Our receptionists often represent the first impression for guests and are a critical link in connecting external community members with United Way staff and services. The receptionist supports the diverse customer base, staff, and departmental functions of the organization. Shifts are flexible between the hours of 8:30 AM through 5:00 PM on Monday through Friday. Our office is located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, at 118 Commerce Ave. SW. United Way volunteers learn new skills and expand their knowledge of the community. Previous administrative experience is preferred. We will provide training.
