Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to teach a community class on home maintenance topics such as drywall, plumbing, electrical, floor coverings, roof or porch repair. Many other topics are offered. An updated class schedule can be found on the Home Repair Services web site; www.homerepairservices.org. We have all the supplies and props in our dedicated hands on classroom. Classes change each week and average 10 -15 people. Classes topics are taught on Saturday in English at 10:00-12:00 and the same topic is repeated in Spanish on Saturday afternoon, 12:30 - 2:30 pm.

This job is for those who enjoy passing on knowledge and skills to others who desire to improve their homes and lives. Teaching experience not required.
