Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Grand Rapids Public Schools has volunteer opportunities throughout the school year during and after-school. We have a Schools of Hope Reading Program at 15 elementary schools during the school day. Minimum commitment is 30 minutes a week, same day, working with the same child (1st through 4th grade).

There is a one-time, no-cost, 2 hour Schools of Hope Volunteer Training that we ask our volunteers to attend. Training dates and times vary but can be accessed under "Community" on our website www.grpublicschools.org or United Ways website under Schools of Hope.
