Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Our Biblically based financial freedom class, offered two times per year - Fall and Spring. A coach is partnered with each family to assist them to work on their individual goals, budget, and debt and credit issues. This volunteer opportunity allows you to work with the participant as they work towards becoming financially free from debt. Many coaches also report that this class helps them on their own spending and budget habits. Coaches must be able to commit to the full 12 weeks, 2 hours per week. This is truly an enriching and rewarding experience to think outside of your self.

Volunteers should be compassionate and flexible in dealing with varying issues. Budget knowledge is a plus but can be learned. Training/orientation will be provided. Some of our best coaches have overcome their own personal finances. In fact, we find that coaches who have experienced debt and credit problems personally often make the best coaches as they are able to relate to the issues affecting the families in the class.
