Our receptionists cheerfully greet guests at door and account for admission money. They answer routine questions, give directions, provide printed materials and coordinate guests into tour groups. They also tell guests about programs offered at Voigt House and the Public Museum of West Michigan. Prospective volunteers must attend an orientation session and a job specific training. They must be able to accurately perform simple math functions, to communicate verbally and to understand and carry out directions and procedures as given by staff. A cheerful, friendly attitude is necessary. Volunteers must be available at least two two hour shifts per month on a Tuesday or the second and fourth Sunday. This opportunity is sponsored by: Voigt House Victorian Museum
