worth my time

I've been volunteering at the referral desk at Degage Ministries for 5 years and I fully enjoy my time there. I work at the referral desk one morning a week and help Heartside residents get access to resources, listen to their stories, and make sure they know that someone cares about them and what they're going through. I've been blessed in countless ways by the relationships I've made and I find my time there very worthwhile. posted by elizabethkooiman on January 18, 2008

Awesome!

My friend and I helped out at Friendship Place! I really enjoyed it and wish to go back! I miss it, and the people, the things we did and how everything was! It helped my friend graduate, and me by learning more about older people and just many things! It was a great experiance I would do all over again if I had to! posted by MelP3 on June 26, 2003
