American Red Cross Needs You!

The American Red Cross of West Central Michigan needs your help to fullfill their mission of improving the quality of life for local citizens.
You can serve as a Transportation Dispatcher, providing essential communication between Red Cross vehicles and home base. Dispatchers also schedule client appointments, assuring that those in need of transportation to their medical appointments will receive the help they need. This position requires good customer service skills. One-half day per week commitment and computer experience desired.
Transportation Drivers are needed to fill the important role of transporting qualifying persons to and from medical appointments. Red Cross vehicles are used, and volunteers must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. One full day per week of commitment is desired.
The Red Cross would like your help in their office. The receptionist serves the key role of greeting the community through telephone calls and walk-ins, and providing clerical support for education services. The volunteer filling this vital role must be able to handle a multi-line phone system, have excellent communication and customer service skills, computer experience, and pay attention to detail. One-half day per week commitment is desired, as well as serving on-call for vacations.
