Camp Fire USA takes participants on periodic field trips as a reward for behavior and participation as well as a learning experience for youth. For example, after youth learn about proper etiquette, a restaurant dining experience may be used to reinforce the lesson and encourage practice.
Camp Fire USA also attends movies for field trip destinations. After youth complete certain activities (for example, reading a book) they may be eligible to attend the movie trip.
