Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 28, 2009 |
Once a month, there is a Volunteer Service Day to help prepare for that month's museum theater production and the accompanying workshops. On a Mondays from 9 am to 1 pm, and from 3-4:30 pm, volunteers will rip paper, slice up paper and cloth, glue cloth to cardboard, make homemade paper, cut out puppet patterns, etc. - whatever is needed for the hands-on workshops. this preparation of "raw" materials saves a lot of money since we can't afford to buy craft kits for 600 students every month. They can stay for a few hours if they can't work the entire shift. There is a lot of hand work and using a paper cutter and scissors. This opportunity is sponsored by: State Historical Society
We need volunteers who are free at these times
