Volunteer Opportunity Details:

"I dont know what I would have done without this help." Tax preparers hear this on a regular basis. Center For Siouxland needs volunteer tax preparers for their free tax sites. Volunteers will receive an orientation in December and a certification training, provided by AARP, in January. Volunteers will meet one on one with tax payers to assess, complete and file the tax payer's income tax returns. Computer assistance is available throughout the day.

People from all walks of life are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers will need to have a basic understanding of how to operate a computer. Volunteers should be friendly and patient.
