Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines is dedicated solely to building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. We partner with committed adult volunteers to help girls develop leadership skills, strong values, social conscience and a conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

History:
One in every ten girls in the Lakes and Pines service area is a Girl Scout. We serve more than 11,000 girls each year.

Lakes and Pines is among more than 100 councils nationwide connected to Girl Scouts USA, the world’s leading girl organization. Girl Scouts' membership has grown from 18 members when it first started in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia, to 3.7 million members in the United States and more than 90 countries.
